Use small sections of dry, detangled hair. Choose the wrap direction with the two rotation buttons, then let each curl cool before separating it.
Begin at the lowest setting, 290°F. Practice the insert–rotate–hold–release sequence on an easy-to-reach section. Release and detangle any section that does not wrap; do not pull or force it through the barrel.
You want a pin-straight finish or very tight ringlets. Very short layers may not sit securely in a 1.25-inch barrel. Damaged or heat-sensitive hair may need lower heat or no heat.
Start with completely dry, detangled hair, use heat protectant as directed, and choose the lowest effective temperature. Results depend on hair condition, length, section size, temperature, and technique.
Model-specific certification documentation has not yet been verified for this page. Contact DYHOO before purchase if a particular listing or certification, such as UL or ETL, is required.
Keep heated surfaces away from water, children, skin, and heat-sensitive surfaces. Use only on dry hair, do not leave the tool unattended while powered on, and unplug it after use. Allow it to cool fully before cleaning, changing attachments, moving it, or storing it.
Read the exact model’s manual before use. Check the voltage on the physical label before travel; a plug adapter does not convert voltage.

| Product | Best fit | Size and heat settings | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| DYHOO Automatic Curling Iron | Guided loose curls and waves | 1.25-inch barrel; 4 displayed settings: 290°F / 320°F / 360°F / 400°F | Not a straightener; very short layers may not fit the barrel |
| DYHOO Ceramic Hair Straightener | Straight styles, soft bends, and broad waves | Approx. 4.3 × 2.2-inch plates; 11 settings across 270°F–450°F | Wide plates offer less precision around bangs and short layers |
| DYHOO 3-in-1 Styling Set | Two curl sizes plus a smoother brushed finish | 1-inch and 1.25-inch barrels plus a heated brush; 320°F / 360°F / 400°F | No setting below 320°F; cool completely before changing attachments |
Its repeatable insert–rotate–hold–release routine may be easier to learn than manually wrapping hair around a wand. Start at 290°F, use small sections, and practice on an easy-to-reach area first.
The barrel is 1.25 inches, a size suited to loose curls, soft curls, and beach-wave styles rather than very tight ringlets.
The four displayed settings are 290°F, 320°F, 360°F, and 400°F. Start low and increase only if a lower setting is not effective for your hair.
Yes. Two directional rotation buttons let you choose the wrap direction for each section, including front pieces you may want to direct away from the face.
It depends on whether each section is long enough to sit safely in the open barrel. The 1.25-inch barrel is generally easier to use on medium-length and long hair; a smaller precision tool may suit very short layers or bangs.
No. Use it only on completely dry, detangled hair. A hot iron on wet hair can create intense steam and uneven heat exposure.
No. This model is a corded electric styling tool.
Travel voltage is not confirmed. Check the voltage printed on the physical product label and manual before use outside the United States. A plug adapter changes plug shape; it does not convert voltage.
Unplug the tool and let it cool completely. Wipe it gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, never immerse it in water, and store it with the cord loose rather than tightly wound around the handle.
